Canadian Forces Personnel Assistance Fund

 

 

 

The CFPAF, established by the Chief of the Defence Staff, provides financial assistance to serving and former members of the Canadian Forces and their immediate families.

Financial Distress Program (Grants and Loans)
This program is available to both serving and former CF personnel with maximum grants of $5,000 and $25,000 for loans, when warranted by distress or other qualifying circumstances. To Apply

To draw up a Budget

Presentation of a request

Eligibility:
• Serving and former members of the CF (Regular) who have completed one year of service and their dependents; and
• Serving and former members of the Reserve Force after the first occurrence of the following:
- One operational tour of duty of at least 6 months duration;
- One year of continuous Class B or Class C Reserve Force service; or
- Four consecutive years of Reserve Force service the continuation
